David Béguier-Barnet, Real Estate Agent

Before joining RE/MAX London,

I had an exciting career launching multilingual websites for Harrods Home Shopping and Harrods Estate. I used to represent my local community as a Treasurer for many years in the same area as our new office. I also assisted landlords, expats and investors in buying, selling and renting, was an entrepreneur in the energy efficiency sector, and a wine importer, organizing my own tastings and collecting vintage wine as a passion.

I thought it was important to talk about these passions, because since I joined RE/MAX I have developed similar feelings to when I organize my wine tastings. Together with the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX West Kensington, in a newly created office, we have managed to successfully establish ourselves despite the strong competition. I really believe that “people don’t buy what you do, but why you do it” (Simon Sinek) and that is why RE/MAX has really changed my life.

My advice to any entrepreneurs thinking of joining our network would be: listen to your customers, go to the training, learn from top agents, work hard and think big.

Every day I thank RE/MAX for the opportunity that was given to me.

It started by chance: After seven years of business, I was closing my IT company. Although Information Technology had always fascinated me, the market had crashed and I needed some new business inspiration. At the same time, my parents were selling t...
